Starting up a thread here for Iowa. Do any previous applicants know when decisions are usually rendered?

LSN says mid to late november with a majority coming in december.

Complete. Mid November should be exciting.

You'll receive an email with logon information for ISIS. Its a bit of a pain in the ass as far as status checkers go, but whatever.

Got the ISIS email a few days before the "application received" email. ISIS is from the Iowa Graduate Admissions Office, and app received email is from Iowa Law Admissions. My guess is that the app goes to grad admissions first for ISIS processing/setup, then off to the College of Law for evaluation. But in my email it specifically says receiving ISIS is not an indication that you are complete.

How long did it take for you all to get your email responses--either the application received or the status checker?

Anyone else 'in progress' according to their status checker? I sent my app in mid-September and got the 'app received' email but no 'app complete' notification. Their status checker seems a bit primitive (not like the others are much more helpful though).

Applied, received status checker, review "in progress."

From reading the previous application year's thread, it seems that they never notify you of completion in any sort of manner and that we will receive our decisions by email before the status checker even updates. Maybe that will change this year? who knows...

I am in the same boat. Looking at LSN they are slow with responses. Give it a week or two.

Even a full ride at Iowa probably isn't going to help you negotiate for cash at UVa! If you weren't interested in attending Iowa then I'm sure you made the right decision by pulling out. Iowa probably appreciate it too, they don't end up accepting you and hurting their yield.

So it's mid november starting next week...you guys think we will start to see some decisions trickle out?

Just receive the ISIS email today, submitted my application on October 26th.

Took you a very long time...any idea why? Most people who submitted around then usually seem to have gotten theirs within a week. Don't know your numbers, but you think this is an indication of heavy index usage?

My numbers are 159/3.15, so I'm on the lower end for sure, the only thing I have going for me is state residency. Also, turns out I "misspoke" there, I actually submitted it on 11/10.

Just got an e-mail from Dean Carolyn Jones.. I'm in!!!
