Thanks. Didn't get anything in the mail today. My status checker says, "Letter of Decision Mailed 02/10/2010," so hopefully tomorrow. Located in TX.

Good luck to the rest of you.

My status just changed to "Decision Reached; Letter of Notification Pending". Is it taboo or bad manners to call up admissions and ask them for information? I often have to wait 10 days for mail to arrive, and my neuroses make it hard to deal with the wait.

It can't hurt to call... they already made a decision. Not sure they'll tell you, though.

They'll probably tell you to wait for the letter.

I wouldn't bother because they won't tell you. They mailed my letter to the wrong state, so it came super late. I got worried and decided to call and ask for my decision...no dice.

The status checker tells me to refer to the email for the timeframe for a decision, but I don't think I ever got one? Did anyone else go complete without getting an email? I'm complete 1/27.

I didn't receive an e-mail when my status changed to complete, but in my initial e-mail that I got when they received my application has a timeline of dates at the bottom. Here's what it says:

"Timing of a Decision

As noted above, once your file is complete, you will be eligible for review. We have begun reviewing files and will continue to make decisions on a rolling basis throughout the coming months. Because our consideration of applications is not governed by a numerical formula or a rigid time schedule, we cannot guarantee a decision within any particular period of time. However, for all files complete by March 1, we guarantee a decision by no later than the first week of April. Though we realize it may be of little comfort as you wait for a decision, we assure you that no news is indeed good news - as long as you have not received a decision, you are being actively considered for a seat at W&L Law.

Furthermore, it is our policy that we do not provide the decision on an applicant?s file via the Applicant Status Online checker. Once a decision has been made on your application, you will simply be notified that a letter has been mailed. "

Their financial aid page says you should hear about scholarships 2-3 weeks after the offer of admission.

Mine was quick via email... and they told me about it two or three times. I guess the official letter was about 2 weeks later, though. Yeah it was. I was told via email January 29th (not sure how long before that I heard of admission but it couldn't have been long as I didn't apply until early January/late December anyway) and the letter came this week.

Letter of decision mailed, 2/15....I'm relatively close to VA, so here's hoping it only takes a couple days. I'm not too optimistic, but, nonetheless, excited.
