Top Law Schools

So it's pretty low on my list of 13 schools, but I haven't gotten any acceptances/rejections/waitlist notifications and I would love to start the cycle with an acceptance.

Anyhow, my status checker changed to "Updating... please check back later ..." from something like "Being reviewed by the Admissions Committee"

Should I read into the change?

That is what mine says as well. I don't know that you should read anything into it at this point. Earlier they had problems with the new set up and it had me as still needing to apply. So I think it is possible they are having more technical difficulties, but before it went to the "check back later" it had said I was under review. So maybe decisions are about to be rendered.

From what I've read elsewhere, they've had some issues with the Internets this time around.

I haven't heard one word from 'em. But then I discovered the little account you can create. It first said I needed to apply (which I'd done 10 days before). Then a few days later (i.e., today) the site said I was under review or in committee or whatever the equivalent.

Hopefully, though, we'll know something soon. UGA's down there for me too, but the race is on between it and Santa Clara to see who gives me first lovin'.

I'm in the boat as well, guys! Mine said it was under review earlier, but now says updating. I will be so upset if it turns out to be another glitch!

Same...but I've had "submit your application" or something to "under review" to "updating" in like 48 hours.

Someone needs to call them and as if they are really updating or if its a glitch. Any takers?

sounds like everyone's says updating... At least the website doesn't look like a 5th grader put it together anymore

LOL...Well, bad news folks. The status checker is down She said they were having issues and had to take it down. She did say, however, that I am being reviewed by the committee.

I haven't even received an e-mail telling me that they've gotten my application

I never got an e-mail either, but I know I'm under review. Have you set up an account on their site? If not, do so. It'll probably say that you need to apply, but it will eventually update and tell you absolutely nothing helpful.

You can always call like I did. She was very nice about it, and seemed to understand the panic of not being able to check.

i think status checkers are the worst thing ever created

why give me a status checker that i will update every 30 mins. when you're probably going to email me in two months anyhow..
