so sorry for interrupting the ED convo, but when do RD people hear back (applied early November)???

If you look back a page or two, you'll see that at least a couple November RD applicants (and one early December RD applicant) have been accepted already.

+1 I applied in October RD and just got accepted yesterday.

I'm thinking that its a bad sign that I can't register on the admitted students site (secret status check). I'm ED and haven't heard anything yet

Don't lose too much faith. They supposedly blocked it so no one can get in.

No one getting mail today seems like a bad sign.

It would be very, very weird if no one got mail from GW today. I mean, it's not like GW conspired with UPS to ensure that every acceptance letter--to urban and rural locations scattered across the United States--would reach everyone's mailbox on Monday, January 11. There have to be at least a few people who will get the mail today (and probably a couple who get the mail tomorrow).

Conspiracy? No. But there isn't a single post regarding someone recieving mail today from GW.

Just got in today... pretty excited actually...

only thing though I applied PT because I thought I wanted to work FT for my company and go to law school PT... since then I have changed my mind.

Now I have some hard decisions to make. GW PT or another school FT.

Anyone think I could call the admission office and see if they would also consider me for FT?

NIICE!!! when did you go complete? i think you could easily call and ask - it's not like they are going to retract an admittance just for asking - you have nothing to lose. Congrats

Bad news as in you didn't get the full-ride ED scholarship. Only a very small percentage of applicants were accepted ED. You may very well still get in.

I applied ED and am still waiting to hear back, but I live overseas, so I was expecting a time lag anyway. Just wondering, are the decisions coming by regular post? I noticed someone mention UPS. Just want to make sure I should be looking in my mail box instead of talking to my doorman for deliveries instead.

The rest of us EDers were most likely deferred to RD. Note that the standards for RD acceptance are a lot lower than for ED acceptance due to the full ride scholarship. Granted I am bummed also that I will likely not being getting a full ride scholarship.

I believe at least for the US that it is regular USPS mail.

It may be different for International.

The previous comment you saw about UPS was in regards to a joke, and not based on anything else.

I e-mailed an admissions officer today who told me that all decisions would be mailed out, and he told me to expect my decision sometimes early to mid next week. I applied ED, so I am assuming that that means decisions for ED will be mailed on Friday.

Yes, you have to sign up for the portal first. There are directions in your admissions packet.

OKAY, so I have to know. Calling all GWU ED-ers on TLS. Has anyone who has been accepted this week (Saturday, Monday, Tuesday) been an ED applicant? OR have the only ED applicants accepted been those who are actually accepted with the Presidential Merit Scholarship back in Decemeber?

Please tell me as I have reached the point of neuroses to drive away my boyfriend, parents, and friends.

make sure you put the "L" in the LSAC number area.

So you haven't actually gotten the acceptance package yet? Veritas, have you been accepted, or did you just sign up for the AS page to see?

I was accepted.

I was able to sign up for the AS site a week ago, and then they shut it off ( probs cause of TLS) and I wasn't able to access it until I received my packet in the mail. So don't read into it.
