You are unable to log in for one of two reasons: either 1) you've chosen to withdraw your application after you were admitted (if you believe our records are in error, please contact us immediately at law.jd.admissions@umich.eduand we'll work it out!), or 2) you have reached this site but have not to date received notification that you have been admitted; this status checker is meant only for those who have already been admitted. Instead, to check the status of your application, you should use this status check tool: http://web.law.umich.edu/admappstatus/home.aspx. Just kidding! Log in 1000 times in the next 30 minutes and we'll let you in! Better hurry!

Nevermind. It's just the text that it above the input field. I never noticed that it is always there.

Yes I also got this. One nice thing is that you can use the status checker immediately since you already have your UMID.

So... what's the deal with Darrow invites? Last year there seemed to be a lot of people on TLS who got them all around the same time. This year I have only seen 3, all from Monday.

Well I counted around 6 in the first wave on TLS last year, so yeah, this year seems to have been a drop, assuming the sample size is the same. Anyway I think they come in a couple of waves, so there might be more invites later in December.

I hope you're right!

I know Dean Zearfoss has said they're running behind with applications--I hope it's just a reflection of that, and not either a reflection of skewed sample size (which is definitely possible with this small a population) or a general reduction in Darrow invites this year!

I emailed them this week since it had been 6 weeks since applying without getting a completion. They said they were behind this year. I'm sure they're just extremely busy.

6 weeks? you beat me man! I'm at 5 and 2 days... but how can a school like berkeley admit 3 weeks from submission and then michigan not even send a complete email in twice that time? I suppose that may hint at a more holistic review process?...

I really wanted Michigan too.
Don't give up. I also went complete in October and was losing hope, but I just found out today that I got in!!! (Dean Z - I'm sorry I checked the Admitted Students site, but I promise to be equally, if not more, ecstatic when I get the package in the mail :D ) Moral of the story, don't ever give up because you really just never know...

Got the acceptance letter! They underlined "very" and wrote a note at the bottom saying my Americorps work was impressive. Guess it was looked upon more favorably than my good friends at TLS led me to believe. Unless I somehow get into NYU or Chicago, see ya next fall

Still red text for me.

I'm kind of confused about the whole admitted students site thing. Are people able to log in while their status is still "Complete" or does it change to something like "Decision Rendered" and they just log in before receiving the physical letter? Oh and can someone link the site? 8)

If you're admitted you can log in to the admitted students site before your status checker goes to "Decision"

Edited for bad judgment.

I'm not gonna link the site but there are screenshots of it some pages back. Sorry, don't want to piss off Dean Z. I got on the site the 14th, my status went to decision on the 16th and I got the letter the 17th.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
