any 11/24 DR Cali people get letters yet? I'm out of town and hoping that it's there when I get back this afternoon

just got my letter today (DR 11/24) - does anyone know if there's an admitted students site? i see that there is one on the georgetown website but i cant seem to log in, so maybe it's not being used this cycle...

It said that it will be available in December on my admissions letter....

sorry for not clarifying - of course mail does not come on sundays, but i was out of town for thanksgiving. it was in my mailbox when i got home today.

Not to be a debbie downer, but i was one of the people who got UR updated again for the third time on 11/24, and I don't think its looking good for me. I'm a splitter (169/3.2) ED, for FT only, but I thought maybe I could get waitlisted. It seems like soooo many acceptances/waitlists went out this weekend that its not looking good. But why wait so long for rejections? Shouldn't they know they want to reject me without stringing me along for three UR?

ah, finally i can join

found my letter waiting in my school mailbox today after frantically waiting to receive it while i was at home for the weekend. went DR on 11/24 like a lot of others. congrats all! and good luck to those still pending!

isn't that good though? They still haven't sent you a letter or waitlisted you. Your still a contender.

No because I feel like all the people who got DR already were either waitlisted or accepted, so now the next batch will be rejections.

I wouldn't say that. I have been UR about three times. I think they still are considering me. Why would they update my file so much then? They would keep one UR date, and then go into DR. NOt go in DR about 3/4 times. So it's good, they are still deciding and holding out of apps.

does anyone who has been interviewed thus far have an idea of how long it takes to turn around a decision once the interview is completed?

mine is on dec 7th, which pisses me off because I submitted wayyy back in sept, so it's really dragging out the decision. i assume the interview will be the deciding factor in whether or not to admit me.

I don't have an interview, but I think there's supposed to be a relatively quick turnaround -- around a few days, iirc?
