I'm guessing the update to 4/6 actually bodes well and that those of us who haven't been updated will get the rejection very soon...

Has anyone ever gone UR a third time?

Also, is there a chance Penn is just behind on their cycle this year as compared to last year (and thus they still actually have seats to give out)? I certainly hope so, cause according to LSN by this time last year they were pretty much exclusively handing out rejects or WLs...

If it's any consolation, most of the kids I know that went/go to Penn law got in off the wait list in prior years (i went there undergrad so i know a decent amount)

I went UR 2/18 updated to 4/6...no idea where i stand :/

Very good question. I'd like to think it means we're on the fence between admit and WL, and they're holding us to see how many spots open as people withdraw before they make the final decision? Of course, I'd also like to think that today is the day and they'll finally contact me with good news, but I've been leaning on that hope every weekday since 3/15 to no avail so far, so maybe I should just bury my head in the sand until August. As it stands right now, my cycle has completely stalled and it doesn't look like I'll hear a peep from my remaining aps (Penn, Cornell, Texas, NYU) until May or July .

It appears you're right. Waitlist today via status checker. UCR 1/29 then 2/18

WL via email. Extremely disappointed, Penn was my top choice, and at this point I've been WLed or completely shutout of every t14 to which I applied. This cycle is treating me terribly. Sigh.

EVERYBODY I know that went to Penn Law was a waitlist admit... and I know six people there... I think it is common at that school.

Looks quite like the 4/1 and 4/2 UR updates from last week. Anyone recall which one was the WLs and which was the rejects?
