Did the people who got this email already get accepted? Did anyone who hasn't gotten a decision yet get one?

Decision Pending since 11/2 with what I assumed were numbers that made W&M a safety.

I had already been admitted, so for all I know it was something they only send to people they've already admitted.

As rejections and deferrals roll in from my reaches, my W&M scholarship is looking mighty nice.

i'm so fucking jealous of you right now it's not even funny. I'd (almost) give my good eye for a W&M accept right now.Halibut6 wrote:As rejections and deferrals roll in from my reaches, my W&M scholarship is looking mighty nice.

I apologize for my lack of modesty. FWIW I will likely not be getting into my top choice school; we just have slightly different lists.robin600 wrote:i'm so fucking jealous of you right now it's not even funny. Do you think there's any chance that if we haven't heard yet we still might be admitted in March? Please Feb. LSAT come through!

Re: William & Mary
For all of us stuck at decision pending there is hope! I just spoke with Dean Shealy and she says that MOST acceptances come out in March. She also told me not to worry, because if we haven't heard yet, we're probably just not considered for schollys (which is fine by me W&M is dirt cheap!). She says decisions in March are about 50/50 admit/WL and deny so don't worry guys!

At first I was going to call you insane for saying "dirt cheap" but then I looked at the numbers: $21k for VA residents and $31k for out-of-state. That's not bad considering other schools!

And the admissions rep told me getting VA residency after your first year is easy to do, but there are a lot of steps!Slimpee wrote:Very encouraging!robin600 wrote:For all of us stuck at decision pending there is hope! I'm still holding out hope for some sort of scholly. Many people with my numbers got that 20K a year deal, so I'm hoping for something in that range.robin600 wrote:For all of us stuck at decision pending there is hope! I've heard this too, but the girls who gave me tours when I visited were both out of state and got in state tuition by claiming residency.5ky wrote:I don't think VA residency is that easy. Re: William & Mary
I think you need to prove an "intent to remain in VA indefinitely" - ie through voter registration, car registration, where you pay your taxes, etc.Muddy wrote:If you attended undergrad in VA for 4 years, would that count? help?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
