I don't know what to make of BC this round...

I was deferred with a 164/4.0...already in at BU.

I didn't go to a NE college (in fact I went to quite the opposite- NYU).

Any theories on all of this?

Has anyone with a GPA under 3.3 been accepted? Im 168/3.00 and was hoping for an acceptance, but looking at LSN makes it seem that I will likely be deferred.

It's weird, actually. My permanent address is in Connecticut, and we haven't gotten anything yet--I was expecting it yesterday. My dad just checked the mail today (normally comes at 11:30) and either we got no mail or the mail hasn't yet come. Is there anybody else closer to BC who's still waiting?

Rejected. 164, 3.5. Not surprised, but thought I might get a "hold."

When does your mail typically come?

Normally at 11:30. It's possible something happened and it's not coming until later today, but who knows? I'm going to call my parents again once they get out of work.

Maybe your mailman took a sick day and you have a mail man that took a different route. That has happened to me before. If it does not arrive by like 3 or 4, I would call the post office and see what's up.

Or maybe the fire of rejection burned so hot it incinerated the envelope.

Just kidding.

Depending on other acceptances, I might not pursue this one. I just don't know if I can write a sincere enough LOCI.

Held as well, guess that kills the 12/7 theory. At least I didn't get rejected.

Still haven't heard anything from BU since the complete email in early November, so Boston isn't showing me love.

Ouch! haha, actually, it's possible. I'm a bit of a longshot but not enough to be dismissed outright (hopefully?) and I wrote a really sincere "Why BC" essay. I hear things have been okay for the underdogs so far, so my fingers are crossed.

In any event--Best of luck/Congrats/Condolences to everybody!

Looks great & nice design!

Although I wouldn't be happy with the 50% cotton/50% poly combo.

Harvard and Yale have 80 & 90% cotton....and better job prospects.

Nevertheless, I'll order one today if admitted.....

I know this is the BC thread, but since we're on the subject of sweatshirts, I have been eyeing the UConn ones: --LinkRemoved--

I just like how they are so direct and to-the-point. :)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
