Email them pronto. It should have taken no more than a week to get your status checker.

Any news on the twitter feed or back channels if they plan to do another round of decisions this week?

Re: Berkeley 2010
I just attended a class and toured campus...could barely get anyone to give me the F* time of day (uh..for 150k..I don't care who the F* you think you are)
Campus had litter floating around
Library looks stuck in 1962 (new "schwanky" addition added...but I had the cashier TELL me about it...not even the Deans secretary mentioned it-had to ask)
Bookstore is smaller than my living room
seriously?
UCB just slipped a few notches for me
good luck to all

For those who are still UR 2/3 (or earlier) and haven't heard anything, has anyone spoken with admissions? I'm wondering if it would be rude to ask about that...

Re: Berkeley 2010
I agree and disagree. I worked with a professor at Boalt on an independent study class and sat in on several of his classes. On a number of occasions, even though he did not announce my presence, I was approached by a number of students who were both friendly and helpful. The classes were small enough for them to notice a new student sitting among them and they answered all my questions and assuaged all my worries. Granted, the new North Addition doesn't exactly boast the most beautiful architecture, you need to take the hall in the context of the school itself. Boalt is very representative of what Berkeley looks like in general.LawLucy wrote:I just attended a class and toured campus...could barely get anyone to give me the F* time of day (uh..for 150k..I don't care who the F* you think you are)

As for you having to ask about all the changes going on, that's not too cool. Maybe it's my bias for Berkeley talking, but Boalt still sits high on my list. I'd like to think that your experience was just a bad draw but who am I to say?

Re: Berkeley 2010
I asked this in the "in at berkeley" thread, but since that thread is DOA, thought I'd ask here too . . .
Does anyone know when the secondary response becomes available for those who tenatively accepted their offers? I figured it would just become available immediately, but it doesn't . . . maybe they don't start dealing with that until the deadline passes? Anyone have any idea? I anticipate my last few rejections will be arriving imminently, and want to confirm my enrollment when the do.
