I just spoke to the Admissions office. The nice lady informed me that the Admissions Committee just requested the files which went complete in early November. She implied they are going chronologically, so anyone with a December complete date (myself included) shouldn't expect to hear back in the very near future. It seems like they are quite behind, but hopefully they pick up the pace.

So does this mean that if I went complete in September and haven't heard anything and am still UR 11/25 that they lost my file (joking, sort of)?

You will always go UR twice. The first UR goes to.. ???? but the second one goes to the admissions committee. After the admissions committee reviews it, a decision is made. I think people ONLY got accepted after being UR twice. I'm guessing a quick turnaround from the first UR to the second UR = relatively auto-admit. But I do not know for sure.

+1 Complete 11/25 --> UR 12/29, In 12/29. Also I'm a splitter, not an auto-admit. I did apply super early.

This is my situation too. I'm thinking about calling the Admissions office, but I don't want to be annoying. At least Harvard and UMich sent out "we are still deciding" emails for Sept completes.

Mine too, and I also don't want to annoy them. Buuuut, I'll send some positive vibes your way if you call for us, which is sure to offset any annoying that you might do

Yeah, the looking at my phone method isn't producing results for me, either.

LSN shows the 3 waves of calls so far have come every other week, so if that continues we can calm down for now and get our hopes up again next week.

Sorry, I checked my Twitter and saw nothing. Thought it was a cruel, cruel joke. It says Oct/Sept applicants, though, so I won't get too excited.
