Well I've been stalking this thread and this website for about a month now. I applied initially for the FT program. My application was complete since early January but I received no word until my rejection via status checker in late May. I submitted a LOCI prior to the rejection and had received feedback from one member of the committee so I had myself placed on the list for the PT program. I spoke to Dean Brown once on the phone and the conversation left me nervous. I was nitialy told to contact them again on June 2nd... now Jone 10th. I'm so nervous! I;ve submitted so many emails to Dean Brown and have received no response... I guess I should call again but I'll wait until tomorrow.
I'm so happy for those of you who have been admitted but I'm so nervous for myself. I thought it was about time I stopped stalking the site and started sharing my anxiety...
So hello all, my name is MandM and I am a Fordham Status Checker Addict!
Welcome!
Thank you.

I hope we all receive word by tomorrow. Hopefully it will be good news.

I graduated from an ivy and my data is so-so due to some personal issues. But there must be something keeping them from out right denying me now. Hopefully, Fordham can see how much I want this and also how dedicated I would be to them on an academic level.

I'm flat out desperate and hoping they give me a shot!

No spots so far for FT and they made a few PT admissions. This is the update from DB.

No, he didn't mention whether or not they'd make more admissions for PT since I didn’t ask. He did mention that the situation of FT might not change next week. I am a little disappointed.

wow. i just got an email back from dean b. he really is the bee's knees.

it seems the fordham waitlist is being tended to like a hot nyc club on a celebrity studded night. one out. one in.

so if you've been admitted. and ya think ya might not go to fordham anymore. for the sake of my sanity, please please please withdraw!

I'm reluctant to post my stats since I have this fear that someone in admissions is reading this blog and comparing what I say to some spreadsheet to figure out who I am. Yeah… paranoid!

But I applied for FT, got denied, and am now being reconsidered for PT.

Yeah but people posting on this thread have had amazing luck in getting off the waitlist at Fordham, so maybe thats a good thing?

I think so. In this way, school knows your enthusiasm. That's for sure a good thing.

Its June 10th and I still haven't heard a peep from fordham... I've been "In Review" since 1/5/2009! Its getting to the point where I check the application status checker like 6 times a day.

My LSATs are a bit low but my gpa is right inside their range and I went to Fordham undergrad.

Guess I'm just venting a little... everyday I'm more and more tempted to call them and request to be considered for part time, but I'm not thrilled about the restrictions on the PT program. I couldn't take enough classes to transfer to full time after the first year without taking summer classes and I'd rather get an internship that summer. I'm also not sure PT students can get housing on campus either, I know they couldn't at Fordham's undergraduate part time. I really don't know what I'd do during the day if I went to fordham part time, but I suppose the law firm I'm working for right now would keep me on part time.

What do you guys think, should I request part time consideration? You can PM me for my stats if you'd like, but I'm not a fan of posting them. My back up school is Uconn law full-time... which is a great school but I'd take fordham over it any day.

I believe we can't take day classes. Some people were thinking of doing this to facilitate switching over. Since the summer classes are in the evening, though, I don't see how this would preclude a summer internship.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
