my status checkers says waitlist at Evening Program now. It changed this week.
Still no good news yet.

I was waitlisted for Full Time program on Jan.23, 2009. And I emailed Dean Brown and asked to be considered for both program on May 11.

Well, at least you know that they reviewed your application recently! :D

I'd be thrilled to be admitted to either program, but there hasn't been any sign of activity since my initial waitlist on 3/5.

So it will be a really long wait for us then. I don't think people who just deposited on June 1 will withdraw any time soon.

My contact info on my status checker just changed! I had asked to switch it with the original waitlist letter in March, and I know I'm reading into things, but would they go through that trouble now just to kick me off the list? I'm really ready for this constant state of waitlist-induced nausea to end.

Well according to numerous threads here, including the Cornell wait-list thread, the LSAC reports just went out. So as these schools go through the list of double deposited students, they should have a better idea as to how much space they have available. Then we'll see action on the wait-list. So hopefully soon, we will hear from Fordham.

I want this so much. Every time a new email comes to my inbox I get a mini heart attack... "Pick me, Fordham! PLEASE!!!"
At this rate, they'll find me knocked unconscious in my cubicle.

Good luck guys.

kis2009 wrote:Hi All,

I just withdrew from Cornell this morning. I have a hunch that while they may be "pretty full" the reason they are unsure is that the multiple seat deposit list just went out from LSAC and they are calling applicants who are double committed asking them to make a decision now -- they called me yesterday and asked me to make a decision by the end of the day. Good luck!

Oh, that's good info to have. Thanks! Here's hoping that everyone double-deposited decides to go somewhere else...

has anyone researched the Fordham threads from last year to see what our chances for waitlist movement are at this point in the cycle? It would be pretty good news if we found evidence that people were getting in up until the 1st day of class last year.

I just performed a cursory search and found that some people were admitted from the waitlist as late as July 25(! :o !). I'll be doing some more searching once I get a few things out of the way at work, and I'll report my findings later.

I don't know how people handle about housing if off the waitlist that late.

I emailed DB last Friday, and he never emailed me back. I asked a Fordham Aluminus to write a LOR and the letter was emailed on Monday. Have no idea if my recommend got a reponse.

Don't know what to do now. I just don't really annoy Dean DB by calling him too often. Any suggestion?

Ditto. And Status checker is being wonky again.
