Very nice letter though. I'm retaking the LSAT and reapplying next year. FML.
I'm sorry to hear that. Will you be reapplying as a transfer student or will you take the year off?

Show your interest without overdoing it. If you are in NYC, drop by admissions ask to speak with someone and let them know why you are now interested in PT as well (not just because chances for FT look bleak). Thats what I did and it really helped.

Also I think there might be some truth to the one in, one out idea. However, since you are deposited at Fordham you might have a good chance since you will be willing to wait it out until the bitter end.

Edit: you can PM if you want to know what I did. I was not waitlisted but I did switch my app from FT to PT in the middle of the cycle.

Do you guys know if they have purged the WL yet? Does it mean anything if you are still on? Sorry for all the questions, but this is torture!

They don't appear to have. I almost wish they would at this point just to get an idea of what their actual plan is. I contacted the office last week and they said a few people were being taken off the waitlist. I'm almost positive they were talking about FT, so the conflicting info is exhausting.

Yep. They made a great offer, and I love it there.

I was sad to give up Fordham. It's a lot to give up -- excellent school, excellent opportunities. Ultimately though, I couldn't justify the 200k price tag.

I think so. I heard from Admission full time is overly enrolled. There might still room left in PT. Anyway, there are still a lot waitlistees waiting. I went to Fordham today. And Dean Brown said almost every waitlistee wrote him a letter of continued interest and some people more than one.

Long time stalker, first time poster. Got in to PT today and will be attending unless GULC decides to be cool in the next week or so. Good luck to those still waiting and don't lose faith.
