Is it just me...or is anyone able to smell the outside of an envelop and know it's a waitlist?
Anybody?

yep, i saw the green sheet through the envelope so i immediately thought "maybe that's the seat deposit form" then i regained my senses and thought "waitlist!"thejules wrote:Haha, definitely. You can do that little smooshing thing with your fingers and tell there's more than one sheet in there ----> WAITLIST.

haha...I knew when I saw a normal envelope. On LSN, everyone who got accepted said the letter came via priority mail. I was dreading that plain first class envelope for months!Paul Ramone wrote:yep, i saw the green sheet through the envelope so i immediately thought "maybe that's the seat deposit form" then i regained my senses and thought "waitlist!"thejules wrote:Haha, definitely. Yeah, it's a little disconcerting to look at the LSN graph and see more yellow dots than red ones don't you think? I'm pretty sure putting almost everyone on the wait list is only weakening our chances of getting a seat. Bummer. Like many I'm still holding out hope though! A big THANK YOU to anyone who withdraws!Paul Ramone wrote:what a weird, weird admissions process. looking at the LSN graph, the WL nearly everyone south of a 165/166 LSAT, regardless of your GPA

(b) what their avg. need-based grants are.
I am 37, EFC=0, $1500 in te bank, made $8000 last year while in school.
Do they give out, say, $3000/yr in grants for those who need it?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
