Hi everyone,

I started a WL thread so we (mainly I) wouldn't keep clogging this one.

I just thought on behalf of all my fellow waitlistees here -and for all of you here waiting on other schools- I'd mention that as of now, our chances off the wl seem bleak. Word is Hastings received deposits>seats, so the wl won't get any love until the # of deposits goes down in a big way. I imagine this may be happening at other schools too, which is why wl movement may be so slow. Tough cycle.

Anyways since those of us on the wl are in for a long haul, help us keep our spirits up? Please let us know (if you're not for sure heading to Hastings) if and when you withdraw, should you be lucky enough to get in off the wl(s) of your choice! It would serioooously make my day, and some other people's on here as well.

Ugh, I feel so helpless about this waitlist... today I have to commit to my distant second choice school (can't keep the people on the wl there waiting), OR give that option up, keep waiting for a pipedream with Hastings and possibly end up at a school I don't particularly care for. I know I'm not alone in this, but this process continues to be exhausting and all consuming for me.

Anyways! Anastasia, I saw your locked thread... where do you want to end up and what field are you interested in?

well... if you do withdraw from Hastings, bc i will be eternally grateful i will send you some sf street vendor jewelry to your uconn address so you can get a little sf <3 on the east coast. ...there's this spoon line that's ridiculously fabulous

Then I'm on the WL for UCLA and I'm dying to go there....why does this have to be so difficult. I loved it when there were no decisions to make and Hastings was the only school!

i knooooow right? and my decision is tough for me bc my second choice means i start classes in about 2 weeks at the other school. it'd be nice to quit the wait and stress, but i just dooon't want to give up on hastings yet. we'll see by midnight...

Don't give up. I know someone who had to wait I think all the way through June last year. Where's the other school you're thinking about?
