Haha, yeah it is funny how relaxed they are. I got horribly lost in their library. It is ridiculous.
Bump on the apartment thing but more on this library, please. I know Iowa is supposed to have a great library but I can't find too many pics on it and really wanted to get a feel for what it was like (I'm big on libraries). Any comments you could share?
It is just a lot of volumes of stuff. Their rare book room is totally badass. TOTALLY. It is the 2nd most complete collection of works next to yale, and it shows.
That's awesome. Is it actually a nice place to study though? Nice setup? Nooks and crannies to study in?

I visited the campus a while back. The library is pretty amazing. It has these great cubicle-like areas that you get when you're a 2L and 3L, where you can study and keep your stuff.

Yeah. It is a hopping part of the law building lots of students in their carrels studying their asses off. (THose are what you call the cubicle like things. They also have a lockable glass case to store your books and supplies. All 2L and 3Ls get them.

Lovely, although the law school is located on the other side of the river from all this stuff.

Barely. It's a pretty easy walk.

According to Google, this exists at the University of Iowa College of Law. It looks like a sort of jungle gym for law students.

I'm pretty sure that's the lobby of the new art building. It's somewhat close to the law building, though.

Thankfully not too close, or we'd be attending law school in an abandoned Menards.

I imagine that would slightly hurt enrollment...

That's actually kind of awesome. I wonder if they would let me rent out a little space in there? It would be so nice to have a place to paint in LS, le sigh.

Does this mean art students got to "save BIG money" on tuition?

The state of Iowa in general got flooded the f' up last year, but, yeah, the area around the University got hit pretty hard. As it turns out, putting a bunch of expensive buildings in a flood plain is a really bad idea.

Iowa law school and being accepted to it.

The jungle gym in the art school seems to have taken over as the topic of the day.

Ah, yes. You gotta admit though... it's pretty awesome looking. And as acceptancees, we could have the option of visiting this building. Besides, since where is there such thing as "on topic" at TLS?

There is no such thing, but this structure doesn't interest me. Therefore, I needed the topic of conversation to go elsewhere.

We need some pictures from inside and around the law school.
