Yes, they are definitely one of the slowest schools.

Re: University of Oregon Law
I went to a law fair a few months ago and every school I talked to said they would start reviewing apps in November and December and Oregon said they hadn't even thought about it yet, which I thought was amusing.

I don't think they are "slow" per se, they just only have a staff of about 5, which is tiny compared to most, so they just don't bother digging in until they can hire temps to do the processing once reviews begin. Just looking to save some coin is all.

I'm not a very patient person. Maybe I should walk over there and explain to them why they should let me in and why they should do it now.

It's been nice these past few months, though, knowing I didn't have to worry about wondering when I'd hear. That, of course, will change when the calendar changes.

Especially because they narrow it down to 5 months.
So I could be in this terrible waiting game until May?Some candidates are notified before February 1. Most candidates receive notice before the end of May.

It's all a matter of perspective. I had a super nice house for 150K less than my current house in Jersey. They have great restaurants, breweries (ECB), dog parks and things to do outdoors. The main issue was employment, but I was lucky to work for one of the more succesful companies there.bhut13 wrote:I hope you're joking. What a terrible place to live.

Re: University of Oregon Law
Oregon is my top school if it ends up being significantly cheaper than every ware else... I would like to go other places but if it come down to 150K at Santa Clara or USD or 60K at Oregon then im going to go with U of O every time... I go to Oregon State for my undergrad though so I find the prospect of attending Oregon physically painful in many ways.ShelleyVA wrote:Is Oregon the first choice for anyone else?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
