You should try and then let us know if it worked...pdx1 wrote:Still nothing received from across town. Think they'd give me my decision if I just drove over and said hello?

It seems that every other school where the status checker changed notified me of the actual decision within a day or two.

Haha, alright. I'm more than happy to play along if it makes other people feel better!

Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
Meaning those of us living in OR and WA should probably hear back no later than Monday and other parts of the country maybe Wednesday at the latest? I don't know how fast the mail travels across country in huge batch mailings.Hi ME,
I thought we were sending them out last week, but we were held up because of not receiving some info about tuition and start date for next year. Letters should go out by Friday. Let me know if you don't get yours by the middle of next week and I apologize for the additional delay!

I work in the same environment in CA. Shorts and flipflops as a director of arch. control for a master hoa.pdx1 wrote:All of Portland would probably seem strangely unprofessional to someone coming from outside OR/WA. I'm at work right now (boutique international engineering firm) wearing a sweater and khakis. The attorneys I work with aren't wearing ties most days.
The emails seem more personal, than professional, that's all. But I think icarter knows someone well there or something.

While I'm here: What do you think are my chances with a 3.40, 158, strong environmental extracurriculars in college, strong rec letters from professors and my current boss at a leading environmental non-profit?
Damn you, L&C.

I wonder if those apps are going to take even longer to process...
If I get into that & and if I get decent $$, then L&C would definitely be one of my top choices. I have no idea how many people applied for it though. From those of you who use this blog, was it a popular option??
