Well you're not in this batch! You're still complete, and not decision rendered, right?

You are a no brainer with a 166, I dont know that they have ever turned down a 166 at UH. The fact that this batch seems to bee a lot of people with LSAT score in the risky area or GPA's below normal doesnt inspire much hope in me. The rest of the acceptances seemed to follow LSAT scores very tightly as nobody w a 161 or higher has gotten anything but an acceptance. For them to all of a sudden jump down to 157 would be a pleasant suprise.

We all applied a long time ago. You just did. We're not talking about you.

You have a 166 - you have nothing to worry about. I know you've applied to some better schools; if you get in somewhere else, please withdrawal from Houston asap so one of us can get in (assuming we're waitlisted and not rejected). Thank you.

Have any of you who went "Decision Rendered" yesterday heard anything yet?

Nope! Guess we have snail mail headed our way. Bad sign.

Sorry if I was hard on you, Budda. I am just sad.

KellBell are you PT or FT?

Do we know if any PT people have heard yet?

Also, I wouldn't get upset just yet. You could be waitlisted. How have they notified people of that in the past?

Mine says "decision rendered." If I get waitlisted, that would be weird. I got accepted to several T30, even T14.

Mine now says decision letter sent. I totally got wait listed. That's amazing.

Who knows, this application process is so arbitrary. I got nearly full scholly to Minnesota (USNEWS #22) and only outright rejection to Boston U (#21). How does this make sense?

BTW, I'm mexican-american. Maybe Houston met quota. hehe

Also, I'm from new orleans - they probably hate new orleanians down there.

I'm in NC. Can you guys post what the letter says when you get it? I'll probably get mine later.

Hah if I do get into a better school, I probably would withdraw. But as of now I've barely heard anything back and got waitlisted at Illinois. Houston is one of my main choices as my brother lives there and it'd make life so much easier. Sorry :/

Nah it's all good, I would totally tell people the same thing if they got into uiuc. Desperation makes people even more competitive than they already will become in law school. i take no offense.

If anyone is nervous waiting for the letter, just call the admissions office and I am sure they will tell you the verdict now.
