Definitely think either "waitlisted or rejected." The (hoped for) wave of acceptances dosen't seem to be happening....

Can't say i'm not disappointed that SMU left us hanging like this and that on judgment day all we have seen is waitlists...hopefully they will change the way this day is going.

waitlisted as well. After this long of a wait I can't say that I am surprised. However, I figured my numbers were good enough at least for the part time program. Oh well.

Well now I know for a fact that I'm screwed...they waitlisted a 3.8/160? I'm 3.66/159 so I guess i'm toast. Good luck to the rest of yall...I'm outta here

My status checker still says complete. I'm a little worried that I'll be rejected now, since I thought my numbers (162, 3.5) were enough to get me a waitlist.

To whoever asked, it says "decision rendered" for accepted students as well, but, I know in my case that the status changed after they called me.

Still 'Held for Further Review' on status checker. I don't think their doing it alphabetically, as I have a fairly early last name. The randomness is kind of weird. I'd prefer a Rejection over a Waitlist, simply because I don't think there's much I could do to get off the Waitlist, so would prefer to know upfront first.

Don't know what's going on w/ smu...they needed an extension then turned around to waitlist everyone...pretty sure they could have done that April 30th....

I think the general consensus on WHY they extended the date was to wait for more folks who put down multiple school seat deposits down to pull out, so that we wouldn't have to be waitlisted. Now, they haven't made any progress in that regard, so the waitlist is being handed out.

O wait...the process described was just like being on a waitlist, except for not telling us for 11 days.
