Sorry to hear that! What do you mean deferred - they're holding you over for a later decision? What other schools did you list on your app?coolkatz321 wrote:I just got an email-- I was deferred. I'm an in-state resident, so to say the least, this was quite surprising. My guess is they saw the other schools I had written down on the application, although they were still very much a viable school for me...
Nothing too special... Pitt (meh chance), Tulane (lesser-meh chance), and Cincinnati (accepted). I didn't think it was that bad...IzziesGal wrote:Sorry to hear that! 157, 3.82. Low LSAT, I know, but still... although I don't want to take anything for granted, I still expect to get in later in the application cycle...A'nold wrote:#'s? A 157 is not that low at all. I predict you'll be in later on. Have you tried emailing Dean Walton to express your interest in the school? Maybe even ask her if you can come visit, and when you're there, put in face time with the admissions staff. Don't ask why you were deferred...but rather, keep being persistent and showing your genuine interest.coolkatz321 wrote: 157, 3.82. Do you think it's alright to reply directly to her email with a LOCI? I figure I should probably follow up immediately so I can get my level of interest in ASAP.IzziesGal wrote:A 157 is not that low at all. I predict you'll be in later on. I started emailing her about my interest before I even took the LSAT. I think it never hurts to get your name out there and be persistent. I think the sooner, the better...coolkatz321 wrote:Do you think it's alright to reply directly to her email with a LOCI?
