I am waitlisted at Davis too! Has anyone sent in a LOCI?

And has anyone else heard that there is going to be high waitlist admittance this year b/c more people applied to more schools, or is that just my wishful thinking?

Unfortunately I too am a member of this group. Davis is my very, very top choice, so the letter kind of crushed my dreams. I'm trying as hard as I can not send LOCIs everyday.

I'm the opposite, LSAT slightly above their 75% and GPA below their 25%, so I hope that doesn't take me out of the running.

Haha! I hope there is only 3 on the waitlist! I think they just *might* be able to admit all of us then.

Davis is one of my top choices too! Although I applied to BU and BC on a whim (my good friends were applying to Harvard for their MBA) and am waitlisted at both ... I'm not sure I could leave Northern Cali even if they admit me though!

Oh and GOB, my stats are below 25% GPA and above 75% LSAT too.

I am in the same boat as you, stuck in wait list hell. I sent in my reconfirmation email a few weeks ago, but no dice yet! Still holding on though.

Fuck Davis. Sorry, but I got waitlisted too, 3.25, 171, and I went there as an Undergrad. I also work for their fundraising department. I told them to piss off. Why the hell would you want to go to Davis? I've lived here for 4 years... boring... small town... and the cops are ridiculously racist and ageist. They hate students and minorities. I can't wait to get the fuck outta here.

1) Waoh there, sounds like you got yield protected. Though Davis is a good school, i'm sure you had some great options with your lsat. Despite that, I'm sure you could write a loci/call admissions and get in.
2) All cops anywhere (especially in college towns) seem to fit your description.

Well im in a similar situation, LSAT below the 25%, High GPA though. I had similar hopes about the email too, but I received it 2 weeks ago, and still no movement. Im hoping that things work out for both of us.

MASTAPEACOCK was definitely a yield protection. A strong LOCI and a few calls showing interest might make a difference.

I want to have a relaxing weekend and not think about all of this too much, but I know ill be checking in 24/7

I shouldeve mentioned it in my earlier post Yikes. I called and finally spoke to someone in the admissions office yesterday. No lost admittance, but they did know who I was. I have sent tons of extra goodies (loci & lor's). The lady who I spoke with did assure me that they will definitley go to the wait list this summer some more, as they have only made a few offers thus far (lsn figures). Of course, she had no info on time, but I think we all still have great chances. Hopefully I receive word before I have to make living arrangements some where else soon...

I wonder what type of meeting they were having? At least they are looking at the files though. Last time I called was last week, and they all but guaranteed me that they would at least be going back to the wait list. Hopefully something good comes out that meeting. Im n really cold n foggy SF, thinking how nice it is in Davis right now

Funny you say that. I just looked and I have the same thing too? I never had that before, as I would have definitely noticed before, odd dont you think? Are we the last 2 waiting on here haha! I did email the admin office on Sat and received a response. No one has been offered a position recently, but hopefully they will soon. Hope that hopes for anything.

PS/ Website has been updated, just noticed my other 2 LOR's names were added to the list?
