What do people's status checkers say? Mine has a whole list of things, all say received a couple of weeks ago. Will that change to complete and/or under review at some point?

Wondering the same thing. My status checker has been on "Received" since I applied 10/9.

From what I've read from last cycle, I don't think the status checker changes until a decision is made.

Just a quick question. When you schedualed the alumni interview, how long does it usually take to hear back from the school or the interviewer?

It took a little over a week to hear from the school, another day to hear back from the interviewer.

Decisions came out last year starting on 11/8. Maybe we'll hear something this week! fingers crossed

I made my alumni interview request on November 1st, but I did not get any confirmation emails and I still haven't heard anything from Vanderbilt. Should I contact the school? Or is it normal to wait this long?

It took over a week for me to hear from the school. I would say give it a few more days. They're probably slammed right now.

I requested my interview when I applied on 10/10, and got confirmation from Vandy on 10/11 to go into the portal (separate from LSAC app) to submit my official interview request.

That email also said due to the high volume of applicants, Vandy may not be able to honor alumni interview requests made AFTER 10/14. Even though their app mentioned a November deadline for interview requests. I was contacted by an alum on 10/15, after submitting my request through the Vandy portal on 10/11 or 10/12 (can’t remember).

My portal does. I interviewed on 10/18, so pretty close to you both!

I hope soon too! And yea, pretty much. It's been the same with a list of bunch of things checked off.

How much is your chance of getting into Vanderbilt if you did not participate in alumni interview? I am 3.67/168, international. I was swamped with work back then, and was crazy enough not to request one..(what have I done )

Vandy 3L here. I never interviewed and got in with $$$. Had 3.28/170.

Btw, if anyone has questions about the school or Nashville in general feel free to tag me itt or PM me.

I requested an interview on 11/9 but have not heard anything. I emailed the school and they said they would look into it.. has anyone else had this issue?

I had this issue as well. I was contacted by an alum, emailed them back to schedule a date and never received a response. I reached out to admissions and they said they'd reach out to alum. I haven't heard back from admissions yet.

I have a full ride to Belmont...still haven't heard back from Vanderbilt. I had an alumni interview on Nov 12th. I'm an URM, 3.6 GPA and 156 LSAT, with strong LORs and campus involvement. I have to tell Belmont by Friday...opinions on if I should accept or wait to hear back from Vandy?
