What's the difference between PWL and SPWL? I'm in the latter and haven't received any feeler email.

Well, one thing to remember is that if you told them you would attend there is not as much reason for them to give you another feeler email/interview. Especially for these "check-in" calls/emails, they are mostly gauging interest so they only offer to people that will accept and GULC can maintain a good yield rate.

Do you know if anyone has been accepted off the waitlist these past few days? I haven't seen anyone post acceptance to GULC in reddit or TLS. May 8th is the latest date that they said they will get in touch by...the wait is agonizing.

To the best of my belief, no. I've been keeping an eye on the usual places too and I've not seen and actual acceptances. My guess is they are planning to send them all tomorrow. We'll see I guess.

Agree! I've been checking everywhere. Based on previous threads people received acceptances via email and they've come closer to the afternnon between 5-6. I will say that I attended an information session last march and Dean Cornblatt said they made a significant % (dont remember the # exactly) of less acceptances and he expected to make "50-75 maybe 100" acceptances off the waitlist - this was to a group of waitlist applicants that got pulled into another room. THERE IS HOPE.

Based on previous threads, the distinction between WL, PWL and SPWL seems to not be all that significant as they don't exhaust one list before moving to the next.

This is helpful. I will keep an eye out for an email tomorrow. In previous years, people seemed to be getting admitted the week of May 1st. I guess they're not doing it this year.
