Just got an E-mail from HLS that they gave me a call but couldn’t reach me (international students). Is that a good sign?

What is usually the deadline by when you have to accept the offer?

Question from my side regarding deferral as I am considering it for this cycle.GardenState1 wrote:Checking in - I got in during the 2016-17 cycle and deferred two years to work, so I will be starting in the fall! Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Hey there! Great question. I can only speak for my own experience, and I was accepted as an undergraduate senior, so HLS granted me a deferral without me having any work experience at the time. That being said, they were super gracious about it throughout the process and seem to be willing to grant deferrals if there is a compelling reason. On the HLS website, it says, "We most commonly grant deferrals to students who wish to earn another degree or take advantage of an employment or service opportunity." (my emphasis added).SullatheDictator wrote:Question from my side regarding deferral as I am considering it for this cycle.GardenState1 wrote:Checking in - I got in during the 2016-17 cycle and deferred two years to work, so I will be starting in the fall! I already have 4 years of work experience (Consulting firm), but my company has offered to pay for a good part of my Harvard Tuition if I defer by a year to lead one of their bigger initiatives.
Any idea how Harvard may look at a deferral request from somebody who already has quite a bit of work experience? How much preparation goes into the deferral request?
Thanks!
Not in the slightest. Still multiple JS1s and JS2s left. Good luck!mountwhite wrote:Went complete in Dec. 10th -ish. Still no interviews. Does that mean I am out? Are there gonna be more rounds of JS 1s?
