Since Columbia and Chicago seem to do their RD acceptances in pretty much the same like 3-4 day period, I honestly wonder if the deans call each other and draw straws or something for the day they want. I'll put 50 internet points on a Columbia Thursday and a Chicago Friday.spongebob wrote:I feel like it’ll be Thursday or Friday.tinycatfriend wrote:Sooo we're done waiting for today or nah?

Any reasons people are saying Thurs/Fri rather than the usual Tues (obviously gone now)/Wed? App numbers? Interviewer tip offs?#gobroncos wrote:Since Columbia and Chicago seem to do their RD acceptances in pretty much the same like 3-4 day period, I honestly wonder if the deans call each other and draw straws or something for the day they want. Last year Columbia had their first three waves three days in a row, still hoping for a Wednesday- Friday high tide.#gobroncos wrote:Since Columbia and Chicago seem to do their RD acceptances in pretty much the same like 3-4 day period, I honestly wonder if the deans call each other and draw straws or something for the day they want. There is literally no logic to any of this, it is random speculation.hcw1995 wrote:Any reasons people are saying Thurs/Fri rather than the usual Tues (obviously gone now)/Wed? App numbers? Since I’m lazy and I’m sure someone else combed the thread today, do Butlers and Hamiltons come with admissions offers? Holding onto hope!

Re: Columbia c/o 2021 Applicants Thread (2017-2018)
I read through last year's thread today and it looks like they do! Last year the first acceptance wave was on Wednesday and didn't include any scholarships, then there were two more waves on Thursday and Friday that both included Butlers and Hamiltons. People reported getting a PDF attached to the email that explained the details of the scholarship. Preemptive warning to people with high stats not to freak out if you're not in the first day of admitsprincipalagent wrote:Since I’m lazy and I’m sure someone else combed the thread today, do Butlers and Hamiltons come with admissions offers? What makes you think your interview wasn't great? It's a pretty casual interview, so I'm sure you did fine! They're certainly not expecting poetic, Pulitzer-nominee answers out of the blue!bobloblaw21 wrote:Panicking so hard about this one. I felt like my interview wasn't spectacular either... My time-slot was at the end of the day and they ended up calling me 15 minutes late, so I had 15 minutes of sitting there staring at my computer screen letting nerves build up before the interview began. I felt like they asked tougher questions than the other schools did -- especially in the way that my interviewer phrased the "why law" question. It was more like I was being asked to defend my decision to a skeptical interviewer, rather than being invited to share more information. It put me on edge a bit. Overall I don't think the interview went horribly, but I also didn't walk away from it feeling like it went super well. I'm definitely nervous about getting this decision back.ArthurTimothyRead wrote:What makes you think your interview wasn't great? It's a pretty casual interview, so I'm sure you did fine! It's been two weeks since I submitted the application, but it's still pending. How long does it usually take to complete?
