Checking in! I have my interview the first week of October. So nervous/excited. NU is definitely in my top three.

Y'all probably know the answer already but the application says that applicants accepted under Early Decision will receive 50K / year so yes!OakBrook2021 wrote:Doesn't look like they've updated the site yet, but I'm sure they'll tell you if you email them.dinizdeoliveira wrote:Might seem like an obvious question but is it confirmed that the $150k scholarship will still be offered to ED admits this year?

Is that for ED or do they interview often?HLShopeful12345 wrote:Checking in! I have my interview the first week of October. So nervous/excited. NU is definitely in my top three.

It's mandatory for ED, optional (encouraged) for everyone else.InterLaw wrote:

Did my online interview yesterday.. super awkward. 6 questions long. 30 sec of prep time, 1 min of response time for each question. I was still talking during one response when the recording stopped.. oh well.

I wish I could remember them all! I had Why Northwestern and a question about what I would say to a classmate who performed badly during a cold call and then looked despondent after class. Can't remember the rest. I ran long on my response on one of the first questions, and the rest is a haze.twiix wrote:what were the questions that you were asked?NavyNuke wrote:Did my online interview yesterday.. super awkward. 6 questions long. 30 sec of prep time, 1 min of response time for each question. hahah as long as you pieced something coherent together during the haze im sure you're fine. nerves have to be a big factor in a ton of those interviews - I wouldn't worry.NavyNuke wrote:I wish I could remember them all! Did you pick one of the "Saturday Sessions"? If yes, how? I tried and none are highlighted in any color to denote they are open or full.

Checking in!
This might be a more general application question, but if I'm writing the December 2 LSAT, can I technically still apply before December 15, since my score will be pending but the exam itself completed?

Also unrelated for anyone who can answer: is anyone here applying to one of the joint LLM programs? Or even the advanced JD program?

Dean Rodriguez is leaving to go back to being Professor Rodriguez! Big news for NU I suppose.

Just got my fee waiver! And no LSAT score yet even - so if you haven't requested one, you should.

Hey rowdy!! Thought it would be to include in the OP that all fees are waived if applying before December 1st.rowdy wrote: .
How do I request an application fee waiver?
As an incentive for prospective applicants to apply early (between September 1 to December 1), we offer application fee waivers to any prospective JD applicant who simply fills out our registration form. This form can be found on our Apply page. A fee waiver code will be generated and emailed within 2-3 business days.
If you receive a fee waiver, be sure to apply by the expiration date listed on notice. Once a fee waiver code has expired, it will not be reissued.

Re: Northwestern c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018 cycle)
best of luck everyone. i started at northwestern this year and am extremely pleased so far. I especially like chicago and living in the city close to all the action. lots of stuff to do and tons of places to go, plus it isn't nearly as expensive as new york and san fran!
i didnt ED, but it's a really good deal and the deadline isnt until december 1.
