Re: UVA c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018)
Sorta? I had two things that had one line on my resume, so I expanded it to include hella more what I did. and then added some more things that just didn't fit on the resume. Figured it's a good a space as any to say i got involved at school.kiklavan wrote:Did you guys pretty much just reiterate your resume in the Activities & Interests section?
Sigh, I'm basically an auto-ding but I'm gonna hate myself later if I don't even try.

Not really, I approached it in a much more casual manner, talked about my music and sports interests. Don't really think it matters all that much.kiklavan wrote:Did you guys pretty much just reiterate your resume in the Activities & Interests section?

Does anyone here need a fee waiver code? Reply here, and I'll shoot you a PM with the code. Just submitted and I need some good karma my way!

Prob because they’re closed for the holidays. I think people generally get them the next business day or so, but the timing is likely messed up because of the holiday.Tavorak wrote:I submitted two days ago and still don't have it.AvatarMeelo wrote:How soon after submitting did you guys get your status checkers?

I’ve been UR since early November and heard nothing. Would it be worth it at this point to send in a Why UVA or better to wait until getting that WL notification?

The WL notification will never come. We will all languish in this perpetual state of uva admissions darkness forever.reesewithoutherspoon wrote:I’ve been UR since early November and heard nothing. I would send it in sooner than later, but what do I know?

There’s someone a couple pages earlier in the thread who was UR since September and finally got an interview request in December. Hold tight!reesewithoutherspoon wrote:I’ve been UR since early November and heard nothing. Does anyone know if they offer travel stipends for ASW? Can't find the info on their website.

Was there an online form like how some other schools have it or do I have to call them up and ask? I don't want to get ahead of myself if there's a formal process to request it later or if it's too early to be thinking about it now, but I work full time and I would need to request time off sooner rather than later.rideagain wrote:They did last year, I imagine they will again this year.38981928 wrote:Does anyone know if they offer travel stipends for ASW? Re: UVA c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018)
Finally applied. UVA is my top choice by a landslide. My chances of admission are basically 0, but I got a fee waiver and I would definitely pay sticker if admitted.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
