When does NYU send out scholarship info? Do we need to submit the CSS or FAFSA or something first?

I think it's 'mid-January'? You can add them to your FAFSA whenever of course. Praying there is no CSS because so far have boycotted that.

Oh and by 'mid-January' I meant I believe that's when they send the application to start the ball rolling. Not sure re: timeline for notification. If I am way off base, someone please correct me.

Did anyone notice that that NYU reduces your scholarship by 50% if you earn above 15k your 2L summer? That...seems kind of shitty. Am I misreading? Because it seems like that would impact a lot of Summer Associates.

Yes, this is standard operating practice for NYU. HYS effectively does this as well, just by recalculating your need based award and warning in advance that they will take a portion.

Yeah I know HYS do it but that's for need based aid- NYU apparently does it for just regular scholarships.

Not sure about length of time, but pretty sure everyone goes UR2 at some point (if this is accurate)

Same here... just to maybe calm your nerves a little bit, I got into HLS last month with a virtually identical application, so staying UR1 for so long likely isn't a bad sign.

i didn't get an email and went ur1/2 on 11/13 and 12/30
