Figured I'd get the ball rolling on this one...

Looks like the first person to hear back from Emory last year about getting off the waitlist was around April 24.

Yup. There was a big wait list wave late yesterday afternoon.

Copy pasting this from the other thread but it's the same letter I got:

Dear so and so,

Emory Law's Admission Committee has reviewed your application for the fall 2017 incoming class. Based on your strong academic credentials and personal achievements, we invite you to join our priority wait list. We also invite you to Explore Emory, an exclusive event for priority wait list candidates, on Friday, April 14.

We maintain a priority wait list of highly qualified applicants to provide opportunities for additional outstanding candidates—like you—to join our community. We anticipate making offers to priority wait list candidates beginning in May and continuing through the summer.

Similar to last year, I fully anticipate admitting numerous students from the priority wait list, and we will have some scholarships available. To alleviate some of the uncertainty of the wait list process, if you are offered a spot at Emory Law and matriculate with us, we will credit your student account for the amount of your non-refundable first deposit to one other school (up to $500)."

It then went on with links to explore emory and other info. Nothing super important.

Interesting...it's almost exactly the same as the regular WL email. I didn't get invited to any event though. Well here's to waiting for another two months.

Regular waitlist for me.

Regular WL, probably will go to BC over Emory regardless. Emory would need to show some $$$ for me to go and I don't see that happening

You can add their email address to your accepted list or whatever it's called so future mail from them goes to your normal inbox I think.
