Has anybody who has already been accepted received their admission packet yet? There are also some links on the acceptance email that direct you to an Admitted Students page and an Applicant Response Form, but neither link works.

Nope, not yet. They just accepted the people to the facebook page for c/o 2020, so the ad comms probably started working late this year, since the only action they've done it seems like was just the wave of acceptances during the first week of the new year.

Just got the acceptance letter in the mail too lol. It's just the same stuff from the emails. Little underwhelming when compared to the packets I got from other schools.

How long was the delay between acceptance and scholarship emails for those who received them? And if you didnt receive a scholarship was there any notification of no $? Or just no email?

It took about 2-3 hours after the acceptance email to get the scholarship email. They also send scholarship info with the physical letter.

Damn well I didn't get any scholarship email yet. I'm pretty sure one will be coming, but we'll see...

I got my packet yesterday and I think I was in the first round of acceptances. Two pieces of paper - acceptance and scholarship. I also live in Houston so I don't think it could have taken more than a day or two to reach me.

Where exactly did it say deans scholarship? On the status checker? Im starting to worry that i didnt get offered a scholarship which would be very troubling. My gpa is below 25th but my lsat is way above 75th. Hmmm

On the status checker in the mailings section it says "Congratulations on your Deans Scholarship award" and above that "Dean's Scholarship Letter Mailed".

At the top of the status checker it says merit based awards are sent out in a rolling basis, so if you didn't get one now for whatever reason, you may get one later.

I emailed admissions about whether or not scholarships were sent out yet for the 1/19 & 1/20 acceptances. They said they are all being sent out immediately this year, so if we didn't get one, we didn't get one.

They still remain a good value compared to SMU and Baylor, but it's a huge disappointment to get....nothing. Especially being above the 75th for LSAT. I got a 105K offer from Emory today, but can't even get 5K a year from Houston? I really want to go to Houston, too...

I was just looking in my status checker and I saw that there is an unlabeled mailing that is marked today. Does anyone else have this strange unlabeled mailing? Any idea what it is?

Saw that on my checker as well. Probably Super Bowl tickets. I heard UHLC is pressing to entice their admitted students to matriculate. It's either that or the official invite to the annual rager hosted by the admissions committee offered to each year's incoming class. Venue TBD.

Hi y'all!!

I just applied to UH about 3 weeks ago, super late but I needed my December score. Has anyone seen any changes in the status checker? Mine just says "file under review" for the past week

I mean, Super Bowl tickets would be cool for sure...but I'm pretty sure they sent admitted students a collector's edition copy of Who Is Mike Jones? and a scale model replica of the corresponding platinum plaque (i scrolled through last year's thread and all signs are pointing to this).
