Thanks! Definitely feels nice to open up that email.

Stats:
LSAT > 75%; GPA >25..<50.

Not too likely that I will be attending however.

That's great! I'm 75th percentile for both LSAT and GPA, so I hope I hear back soon. They are my top choice. I applied 11/28, so you gave me hope that maybe I'll hear something by this month. I'm sure you'll do great wherever you go!

Congrats!!!

Do you think it was generic to all admits? Just trying to gauge what it could mean.

He left me a voice mail when I got accepted. Lball, regarding your other post, I did not return the call.

Scholarship info is coming out late this month when the acceptance letters are sent.

Congrats to both of you!

I'm Not sure. Been trying to figure that out. He gave a lot of information, so maybe he only called people with a certain LSAT score? Could've been just a dork thing too. Either way, a call from the dean certainly can't hurt.

That's very true. I got a really good deal from Tulane so I'm going to NOLA in feb and I wanna know if their deal is going to be good enough for me to go to BR while I'm there, too so I was hoping he was calling to tell me my offer lol -- congrats to everyone :)

Still waiting to hear back... Applied in October and am right around 50% for LSAT and GPA. Not sure why it's taking so long.

@PrelawPelican -- I read online (Spivey Consulting) that decisions are slower than last year's cycle from the data they have collected across the US - so maybe this is the same deal with LSU. Don't worry, you aren't alone.

So I know they said we will know scholly info later this month... but I hate waiting. Will they only mail out your information or will we be able to see it online?

Original email said late January plus its their policy that they only give scholly info in writing. I've been looking through the student portal and haven't been able to find anything that would indicate possible scholarship amount. :(

Looks like everyone is just going to have to wait it out.

Congrats to those accepted, and good luck to those waiting to hear back! :D

Congrats!!! I got mine yesterday as well. Does anyone know if there is a Facebook or something for admitted students? Looking to talk with people about housing.

I haven't seen a FB page yet and I've been accepted for a month now, but I'm a current LSU undergrad if you have any questions about BR area housing!

I haven't seen an FB group, but maybe in our admissions packet they will give us a link to one. I'm visiting campus next week and I think I'm going to ask about housing, too. I'm sure tsporl would know more but if you would like me to tell you about what they say I totally can. Congrats btw!

I would definitely appreciate that!!! How long have you been accepted?? Should I expect a while for the packet?? Any information that you're willing to share would be awesome!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
