Has anyone heard from University of South Carolina? My application went "in review" on 10/28. The status has not changed since then.

Pretty upset with the scholarship offer. USC is my undergrad.
I just went decision made mailed today also, good luck!Rockytop12 wrote:I finally went to decision mailed today. Nervous. How long will it be to get the letter?
FWIW, I got an acceptance w/ scholarship in the mail the same day as I got an email which told me I was in, but gave no scholly info. But I live just over the border in NC so the mail didnt have too far to travel.Rockytop12 wrote:I wonder how long it takes from this point? I was told earlier that they might do this round via email/electronic. I am hoping it was mailed today!
It's a place that's really trying to be a city, but is just failing on all fronts. Totally controlled by the University and wouldn't be anything more than a ghetto without the students bringing in business. Social scene is the same 5 bars. Hope you like football and St. Pats cause that's it as far as "culture" goes.jcburns wrote:I put in a late application, just went complete today. I'm really leaning toward SC so I'm hoping for a quick acceptance! (lol) Can anyone who is familiar with the area tell me what life is like in/near Columbia?
Have you heard back yet? Mine has been in review since then, I submitted my app on the deadline.jcburns wrote:I put in a late application, just went complete today. Mine is still in review, has been since March 17.naturallyTC05 wrote:Have you heard back yet? Okay good, I was getting worried. Btw, I went to USC for undergrad, and there are different things to do around here depending on what you're into. Columbia has been trying as of late to cater more to young professionals to keep talent within the city, so I'm sure there are more things coming to Columbia pretty soon.jcburns wrote:Mine is still in review, has been since March 17.naturallyTC05 wrote:Have you heard back yet? Scholarship funding is low b/c they had to pay for this new law school. The facility is nice, but the new faculty is Meh IMO. Not any big names from notable schools or professions. Only apply if you want to practice in South Carolina forever or be Trey Gowdy.jjmccune wrote:Congrats...hope to apply next cycle!PattyKane88 wrote:Applied 12/27
