For those of you who got in-- do you know if GULC does regional admitted students receptions? If so, what days? I was also wondering if you knew what time the Open House began next Thursday.Bunbury wrote:Me too Did you get financial aid/scholarship info with your letter?trevian39 wrote:In via snail mail yesterday! Preferred w/l as of last night. Applied 1/31, interviewed 2/18 (alumni interview). It didn't go super great...the guy didn't really sell me on it at all, just asked a lot of intrusive questions like where all I applied and what school was #1 on my list. LSAT = 75%, GPA just below 50%. I'm thinking I just applied too late...
With the drop from T14 for next year and the fact that this means I will likely get no scholarship $ even if I got in, I'm probably going to just withdraw. I got in to GW with almost a full ride, was going to be hard to pass that up for likely sticker at Georgetown.

Has anybody who participated in the DC group interview on March 9th heard anything back? Other than the thank you email from Dean Cornblatt? I know he said two weeks, but just getting a little antsy

Has anyone accepted in mid January or later heard back regarding scholarship info?

Re: Georgetown Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Did anyone get an interview request and turn it down, but still get accepted? I was asked to interview but can't due to work (took too many days off for ASWs, so I can't spare the time to make it to the interview). I'm hoping they won't view me not doing the interview as a snub and ding me for it. It did say it won't affect their decision, but c'mon...how could it not?

For those of you who filled out the yellow app, did you have trouble establishing your credentials? Their website says to click on "Your Credentials" on the Admitted Students Website, but I don't see that option.

Priority filing for CSS and FAFSA were March 15th - double-check for FAFSA...not entirely sure about that one. I called to ask about the Yellow Form. I was told the priority deadline for that was also the 15th, but the guy I spoke with didn't sound too certain. He did say that if I submit prior to the end of the month, I should be fine.lmcghee wrote:i know the the website says that the financial aid deadline is mid march...has anyone found a more precise date our forms have to be completed by? thanks!

Has anyone who interviewed been rejected or waitlisted, or does an interview request pretty much mean you're in?

Re: Georgetown Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I interviewed with alumni about a month ago and just heard I am on the preferred waiting list. I think I've heard of at least a few other people this happened to as well. I did apply fairly late in the cycle which I think had something to do with it.amberb94 wrote:Has anyone who interviewed been rejected or waitlisted, or does an interview request pretty much mean you're in?

Does anybody know if they are still inviting applicants for interviews or if this only happened earlier in the cycle? I applied pretty late (end of Feb., after the Feb LSAT scores came in). Just wondering if there is still a chance of being invited to an interview... Thanks

I received a group interview request in my area today. I clicked the link to RSVP within 20 minutes of receiving the email and the only interview listed was one not in my area. Could it really have filled up that fast?! Any chance I'll get an invite to another one? I'm devastated, Gtown is my first choice. I applied late Feb.

When did you apply, if you don't mind me asking? I'm an intl applicant and live abroad, so I'm not even sure how I would be invited (if that was the case)...lollawschool wrote:I received a group invite today, but I live in a major city.intlbr wrote:Does anybody know if they are still inviting applicants for interviews or if this only happened earlier in the cycle? In today with no interview of any sort. Notified by classy letter (by classy, I mean USPS). Applied in mid Feb, but held pending Feb. LSAT.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
