Several others have voiced similar situations. I think the honest truth is that they just haven't gotten through the pile yet and their process is kind of unorganized. This is a time of wild speculation though and really no one knows whats going on.brinicolec wrote:Maybe YP.Reid-Bailey wrote:I feel like a lot of people have been saying they got accepted relatively quick. I am above their 50th GPA and well above their 75th LSAT. What's taking so long? Any ideas? I was expecting a fast turn-around on this decision.

$200 isn't even gonna cover air-fare... It's too bad too, I think this is a school I'd love to see in person before making a decision but coming from the east coast and being damn near broke I can't justify that.

Has any accepted students gotten scholarship offers from UCLA yet? UCLA is my top choice right now, but I don't think I am willing to pay sticker price to go, plus living expenses in westwood is insane...

Just got the email about the all-expense paid URM weekend. I'm really surprised they do this, but also really happy about it. lol

How much of a travel stipend for non-URM? I saw $200 earlier but was wondering if this was flexible based on where you're coming from?brinicolec wrote:Just got the email about the all-expense paid URM weekend. I'm really surprised they do this, but also really happy about it. lol

Not sure. That's for a different event. This event is specifically for URMs.Reid-Bailey wrote:How much of a travel stipend for non-URM? I don't know if my waitlist was YP. I applied to the binding distinguished scholarship program so my interest was obviously evident. Oh well, guess I'm not going to be a double bruin

YP is so weird - is that truly whats going on here? How do they know if someone with strong numbers isn't simply a great candidate for them vs. a YP weak candidate (jdanz is a good example of this problem). I believe there is something behind the scenes we do not understand.
Also me and assassin have been waiting since like October for a response. Whats the deal? Are they just holding off on sending any rejections?Assasindowntheavenue wrote:How'd you get notified?jdanz wrote:Just got waitlisted. Above 75th lsat and above median GPA closer to 75th than median

Yeah I'm waiting for the WL/ding. Not really tripping about it, I'd just like to know already instead of being strung along forever lol.mudiverse wrote:YP is so weird - is that truly whats going on here? Told me to mark my calendar for that weekend, said more details will follow and gave me contact info for any questions I might have in the meantime.armc808 wrote:Did your email say anything beyond "more details to follow"?brinicolec wrote:Just got the email about the all-expense paid URM weekend.
