If the April 1st deadline holds true, interviews would need to take place early next week, giving the adcom ~2 weeks to process and decide. This means that JS1s, if any, should come out today or Monday at the latest... IMO unless the snow day really pushed things back, then we may have a 2-3 day leeway

As a fellow JS1 waiter, I don't have much hope of there being another JS1 wave. That seems like a difficult turn around time at this point.

Though, yes, if there was going to be one it would have to be really soon.

I think it actually makes sense that it's next week, given the comment made to someone during their JS1. I just really didn't want to believe it, haha.

Yeah, but it just seems like a lot of calls to make in 2 weeks if they are still targeting for April 1st.

Right? I dunno, it just feels weird. I know they've been behind all year, but don't they have to catch up at some point?

I'd also just like to point out that theoretically, there's no reason whatsoever why they shouldn't just do all the remaining calls at the end of March. No one ever guaranteed a wave before then. Five or six people working all day could easily make 250 calls or more on 3/31. Maybe 2/22 was the penultimate wave.

Maybe 2/22 was the ultimate wave and we are just all waiting for the WL

I just can't imagine the turnaround time being that quick to be honest. If you don't get a request by tonight I'd say it's pretty much over, unfortunately. When I got my JS1 request, the dates I could schedule were all over three days away... Assuming that is typical (which I'm not sure that it is), and you get one early next week, you likely wouldn't be able to interview until late next week, giving them 5 business days to decide on all of those applicants who did their JS1s this late into the cycle- just doesn't seem viable to me TBH. There is definitely still hope for a WL though. Fingers crossed for you.

Not saying that this necessarily holds true for Harvard, but after doing my in-person interview with Cornell on a Tuesday, I got my acceptance the following week Wednesday (8 day turnaround)...
