Any clues as to when the next JS2 wave will come? So far there's only been two, right?

Last year's Jan and Feb waves were in mid Jan and mid Feb. This year's Jan wave was in late Jan. Maybe we'll have a mid/late Feb wave?taxman14 wrote:Any clues as to when the next JS2 wave will come? So far there's only been two, right?

Haha, so sorry! But supposedly once you're below their 25% the GPA ceases to become an important factor, no matter how far below you are. I don't think this is the case. Based off of LSN etc., it seems that H has a pretty hard 3.5 floor even for 175+ scorers (and more like 3.7 for <175).CenterFringe wrote:Haha, so sorry! Yeah, that is what I have been seeing too. Hopefully the down year in high scorers means they will let someone like me in!curry1 wrote:I don't think this is the case. Wow that was incredibly thoughtful. Got a package today from HLS that contained a book on the modern history of same-sex marriage litigation in the U.S. along with a note from the author (HLS professor) on the title page. I wrote about how being gay had given me an interest in civil rights battles in the courts and thought this was an incredibly nice and personal gesture and it's nice to know they really do care about the content of our applications

+1 on this idea. I come from a country that is affected by the recent Muslim ban, and I received a phone call from JS herself asking me how things are going and if HLS could be of assistance in any way. Super impressed.unrelated wrote:I think you have to enroll now.xnsch wrote:Wow that was incredibly thoughtful. I thought I did well. Of course, like anyone else, I was very anxious beforehand. But like everyone else here has said, the interview is very casual and goes by quickly.nimbus cloud wrote:How did it go?calpolisci2016 wrote:Completed my JS1. So...when's that next JS2 wave? Heheh.

Big time Shout out to Harvard for recognizing some of us have jobs that we have not told about Law School and do not want to use PTO for interviews.
If any other schools want to take note, I will love you for a day if you offer Interviews later than 6pm

Yeah when Trump came out with his usual superlatives talking about how he intended to pick the best judge in the entire nation I couldn't help but roll my eyes, but it looks like he came through with a stellar pick. I need tor read more about him though.
