Complete 11/18, also no update. According to mylsn only 3 November applicants (out of over 100) in the last 3 years have heard back in December, so I think not worrying too much is the best course of action here.

As much as it pains me to type this, I think the first ED decisions won't be out until next week at the earliest.

But we went ucr earlier this year than last :'(

I know :'( I have been so hopeful all week. I predict a tweet predating the actual release by 2 days. When there was no tweet yesterday, I gave up on getting a decision this week. Let's hope they prove me wrong!

how did you approach the Why Penn essay? I know the prompt says "What defines you? How do your goals and values match Penn Law’s core strengths?" do you think writing a regular Why X essay would suffice here? or should I literally be writing "what defines me?" I just went with writing about my interests and how that matches up with Penn's strengths.

I'm also ED and I went UCR2 on 11/21. Maybe it's UCR2 and you just hadn't checked for UCR1! I went UCR1 only the week before like 11/16 I think

This bums me out! I really got my hopes up thinking we'd hear this week. However, I have noticed that the Penn Law Admissions Twitter hasn't been nearly as active this year as it was last year. So maybe there's still a tiny bit of hope we'll hear tomorrow even without a precursory tweet?
But I won't hold my breath...

Penn has definitely been active on Twitter.. they tweeted a Yentl gif at me the other day (after I tweeted one at them) and I was actually hysterical laughing. They've got a great sense of humor over there & Yentl is iconic so they moved to quickly from #3 to #2 on my law school preference list.

I have a feeling the Dec 12th estimate is spot on, for RD peeps.. but, I've got the weird feeling that they'll start with ED on the 7th... don't ask me why though.

Penn has definitely been active on Twitter.. they tweeted a Yentl gif at me the other day (after I tweeted one at them) and I was actually hysterical laughing. They've got a great sense of humor over there & Yentl is iconic so they moved to quickly from #3 to #2 on my law school preference list.

well I will say this, I know that Dean Post reads/sees the tweets directed at Penn Law (the non-admissions account) due to a convo we had during my visit so.. maybe they'll operate out of that account, too? Honestly just speculating but thanks for this info. Yes, I feel dumb!

don't! some schools have separate accounts, some don't! that's the benefit of being on this website! Or, I guess, if we weren't on this website, we would be happily waiting with no expectations lol
