I can't imagine it would hurt. Though I have come across schools that ask you not to on their websites, so poke around first.cyclawps wrote:Under review, status date: 10/27/2016. Is it appropriate to send a LOCI?

I would ask them first if it's okay. But I don't think it's that big of a deal.bunney_j wrote:+1. Except I'm 11/16/2016... I already sent them my new LSAT and a mini LOCI and nothingcyclawps wrote:Under review, status date: 10/27/2016. Is it appropriate to send a LOCI?

Well I think I was originally wrong, I actually had my interview the first week of January. Anyone else who is an early admit receive scholarship info recently? As in, that wasn't in your acceptance package. It's surprising that there have been so few given out so far (I say as a late October admit with no $$$ info yet :/).

Through the status checker. Checking it just kinda became part of my daily routine and today it was finally something different.haley12 wrote:Oh wow, me too (First week of Jan. not admittance). Quick question. Have been sitting at UR1 since 11/29 with radio silence from UVA.
GPA 3.98, LSAT 170, non-URM, non-KJD.
I didn't write an addendum/Why UVA. Have heard back from other T-14s already.
Think it's time to submit a Why UVA / LOCI?

Same boat as you, so I've been keeping an eye out. One person was admitted in September and got a Dillard in the mail postmarked late December, and another September admit got $135K about 2-3 weeks ago, but it's only been those two I believe :/VA2lawschool wrote:Anyone else who is an early admit receive scholarship info recently? Early November admit. Same boat. The decision letter said end of February but someone commented on the admitted students page on Facebook saying they talked with someone in admissions who said they were expecting to send them out in early marchharmcharm wrote:Same boat as you, so I've been keeping an eye out. I got my scholarship info a few days after being accepted (was accepted in 1/31). Not sure why they'd send me my scholly info and not people who were admitted back in 2016

Got it, thanks. Hard to believe they would need between September and now to know how much money they want to give me...harmcharm wrote:Same boat as you, so I've been keeping an eye out. No idea as to either. I suppose I could always get someone to pick up my lease if I change my mind. Only options left are unfurnished tho :/

It's pretty widely agreed that in order to get admitted, you either have to have an interview, or meet with admissions staff in some other avenue (LSAC forum, etc)ray.bee wrote:Does everyone get an interview or just some?

That's very interesting. I was accepted in early OCTOBER and still no movement on scholarships. Was told that scholarship info would be sent out in early March. Did you get a really fantastic amount of money or something?RParadela wrote:I got my scholarship info a few days after being accepted (was accepted in 1/31).
