I'm getting a furnished 2 bedroom place at the Jeffersonian. If you think you may be interested in rooming, shoot me a PM.

I'm stuck at 25 for an unfurnished one-bed and hoping things pull through.

Dude, you know what's better than an unfurnished one bedroom? A FURNISHED 2 BEDROOM WITH SWEET FOR HALF THE PRICE.
I'm gonna live at the library anyways, so you and Mrs. Meerkat will have the place most of the time.

I went UR1 on 1/10 and then got the interview request this morning for anyone that's wondering.
I'm 25<GPA<50, LSAT = 75. No "Why UVA" essay

Thanks for the offer dude but I'm too old and crotchety to do the roommate thing anymore.
Wouldn't want to start "you-kids-get-off-my-lawn"ing you in your own apt. That's shit's not cool.
Besides, there's just not enough room for my Metamucil and prune juice in the fridge with your stuff...my walker takes up living room space...just--insurmountable challenges man.
I'll enjoy being your next-door neighbor, griping about how things used to be, raging with you kids for one or two beers, and then going to bed promptly by 9PM.

What questions did people have in their interviews for UVA? Is there anything in particular that I should be wary of?

Has anyone not received any date changes on their status checker? Is that normal? I went complete in November, but asked them to wait on my December LSAT. Most schools then updated my complete to 1/04, but I haven't seen any change on UVA's...

Dillard!
A word to all those out there that think UVA forgot about them - the admissions process is pretty unpredictable, and moves super fast. I had pretty much written Virginia off after almost 3 months of nada.

Re: UVA c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Starting to really question the Silence from UVA:
GPA: 25<GPA<50 (but closer to 50 in what is the massive gulf between the two)
LSAT: 75<LSAT
Wrote a why UVA
And I live in VA.
I went UR in December and haven't heard anything, is it presumptive to have thought I would have an interview invite by now?

I'd also like to know this. From my basic research, it looks like interviews were pretty standard Why Law, why UVA type of questionsS.Picquery wrote:What questions did people have in their interviews for UVA? Is there anything in particular that I should be wary of?

No problem haha. You can also check on LSAC and make sure the updated report was sent... I'm not sure why they would say dates don't change, when some peoples do? I'm worried that means I'm rejected already...mrgstephe wrote:Haha, thanks for going through with that. Puts my mind at rest. Re: UVA c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Eh, I wouldn't read too much into that - my understanding with UVA originally was that they only go UR1 and then the first date change means UR2, which is usually followed by an interview request or ding. I'm guessing that means they only update the date when it's done it's first wave of whatever happens to it Under Review, not just every time something new gets added to your file.bunney_j wrote:No problem haha. Yeah sent as a .pdf with my LSAC# in the body to the general admissions email. Let me know they added it like half an hour later.crookedsmile wrote: Who did you send it to? I'm assuming as a .pdf doc attachment to an email addressed to admissions?
