Jacobson invite as well! Anyone have any insight about the scholarship $ amount involved for those who are ultimately accepted into the program? PDF says "up to full tuition" but I'm not sure if that's typical.

DLS on a Thursday...so 100% most definitely dinged. It's strangely a relief to have to stop checking the god damn NYU status checker.
Good luck to the rest of you.

Admitted 12/22 and still haven't heard anything. I may be wrong but I don't think anyone has yet; likely coming at the end of the month!

I did (and I was admitted). I think it's fine.
Did you do that this year? And did you just e-mail it in to Admissions? Thanks!

Still??? When will it chaaaange? I got into UChicago weeks ago. Should I write a Why NYU? Too late?
I am in your same situation. Thinking in writing a Why NYU too. Although I am more than happy to attend UChicago.
Past cycles, NYU WLs were sent in March. So I am expecting either a ding/WL.
Statistically, if we got into UChicago, shouldn't we get into NYU? Me too, though - I'm okay either way, but just want to know!

Yes. I submitted it along with my initial application on LSAC. If you are sending one now I think email would be fine.

Not necessarily. Stats can be a good predictor but are not a guarantee... since schools have different medians to maintain, different priorities/things they might be looking for, YP concerns, etc.

Did you know the water in your eyeballs is capable of freezing?

You will when you have to cross the Midway in the dead of winter.

Is it really that cold in Chicago? Even compared to NYC? It's windy as hell here too.

And I realized law schools don't work that way anymore. I'm from NYC with clear ties. WL at Cornell, admit at NU, when NU is ranked higher. Go figure.

Yes... I live in NYC now. It's nowhere close. NYC isn't as bitingly awful, and also, winter doesn't run from September - May. Also you occasionally get sun.

Another example: One winter when I was there, you could *literally* throw boiling water out the window, and it would freeze before it hit the ground. There are videos of this.

That's a lie.
Literal same. Come cry with me.
I can't remember...did you apply for any of the scholarships?
Sure did. You?
Yes. Maybe we're still UR because they are, for some reason, reviewing our scholarship info at the same time as our general application...and our lack of response so far will in no way prohibit us from being reviewed for said scholarship.

I'm gonna pretend that is true and no logic or facts to the contrary will sway me. It's the American way.
Resuscitating this theory because I'm seeing people with lower numbers who applied after me getting in on LSN.

I. NEED. HOPE.
