I'm getting married on September 30th this year wooooo. Hope the profs don't mind! We're trying to figure out the best time for the honeymoon and am thinking possibly spring break or early summer if I can work it out with interviews and internships. Luckily 98% of the wedding planning will be finished by the time classes start, but I certainly don't recommend the added stress for the first month of law school.Dodocogon wrote:Will wherever I'm summering next year care if I take a weekend off to get married

Planning (if we have one...) our honeymoon for winter break of 2L; should be a good time for an extended relaxation period!JC2017 wrote:I'm getting married on September 30th this year wooooo. Hey! Exactly same, I am glad someone can relate. Hopefully things work out for us. It seems like you're having a great cycle though. I hope you get off the waitlist at H!calpolisci2016 wrote:.nimbus cloud wrote:.

Random question of the day:
Why does the number of volumes in the library matter for law school rankings? Does this even still matter with Lexis/Westlaw & online databases being so readily available?

Looks like they group it under "expenditures per student"Thomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:Random question of the day:

• Library resources (0.0075): This is the total number of volumes and titles in the school's law library at the end of the 2016 fiscal year.
Idk if it would actually affect any rankings at 3/4 of 1% of the total, but its still pretty random

I'd say do what you have to do.

Can people stop spamming all the individual applicant threads with "withdrew and freed up some $$$ for you guys" posts. That's not how it works.

unfortunately there are not enough quality posts within "choosing a law school" thread to constantly post "retake" over and over againjjcorvino wrote:I don't even know how many I have.proteinshake wrote:the goal should be 2500, slackers!TexasENG wrote:Asking the real questions here.dietcoke1 wrote:but how else will I be able to get to 1000 posts for the destinations thread?Rigo wrote:Haha such an apt assessment.thatblondegirl wrote:But how else can we humble brag while pretending to provide a service to the community?dasq5511 wrote:Can people stop spamming all the individual applicant threads with "withdrew and freed up some $$$ for you guys" posts.
