I think the reserve wave is more oriented towards applicants who have yet to hear from CLS.

Our reserve wave won't come until right before the deadline.
Great

I have this theory that it will be the third week of school next year and we'll all receive an email that says "We should have your decision by Christmas!" and then we all cry.

In case anyone was wondering.

Today's the day guys. I can feel it.

If I say this everyday, at one point I have to be right. Right?

I was told by a prelaw advisor that being held means you could get accepted, reserved or rejected. What are the realistic chances of being rejected after being placed on hold? I just assumed they were deciding between an acceptance or a reserve, but maybe I'm too optimistic...

I think the argument is that those that are 'held' are most likely preferred to those who were sent to reserve, so it would follow that if you don't get in after being held, you would most likely be moved to the wait list.

Looks like we had a little movement yesterday, but still no acceptances.

Anyone willing to speculate as to whether an interview request post-hold is a good sign?

I don't think its going out on a limb to say it's a good sign, obviously they're not gonna waste anyone's time interviewing someone they know isn't going to get in. But whether or not it means you're any more likely to get in than someone who interviewed pre-hold, I have no idea

Great sign! Last year, several applicants who interviewed post-Hold were accepted within days of their interviews.

Oh my god just got the admit email!!

Edit: I applied early Jan, interviewed mid-Jan, and was held in that huge wave in February (I think the 18th). my stats are a little low so I thought I was a long shot and am so happy/surprised.

Do we know how many people they usually take from hold applicants?

Just the one acceptance? Have any other Held applicants heard back today?
