Has anyone sent LOCIs?

I would like to visit, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to. I don't live in the area

Haven't sent LOCI, I likely will after the 1st deposit date. And maybe again after the second.. I also considered going to UCI and transferring, or waiting until next year after another LSAT take. I'm not thrilled with this cycle's options. But ugh another LSAT?!? Anyone in at other LA area schools?

Also, does anyone still have access to the waitlist FAQs link? If so, please post!

I wasn't expecting movement until next month really. Will be submitting a letter today, but I honestly don't know how long I will ride.

What makes you say that? It appears there was waitlist movement right after the deposit deadline in previous years

Had you submitted a LOCI?

Waitlisted a while ago, received an email on Monday requesting an interview and had the interview today. Looking through past years threads, the questions were all pretty much the same. On past years threads people seemed to hear back fairly soon but at the end of the interview she said that she doesn't expect to have any decisions finalized any time soon and to keep in touch. Not sure if that's a bad sign?

Did you send a LOCI before being invited to interview? Was the interview by any chance with the director of admissions, McElroy? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really hoping to get off UCLA's waitlist (its my first choice at this point).

Yes, I sent an LOCI Monday morning and then got the interview request later that afternoon. And yes, the interview was with Danae McElroy. UCLA is my first choice too so I totally understand!

Checking in! Waitlisted last week For those of you who received interview requests, how soon after your initial WL email did you receive this, and did you send a LOCI? I'm visiting next week so hopefully this helps my cause!
