Was accepted with $$$. Interested just for their highly ranked international program. Anyone know how this school compares with state schools (OSU)? They seem to have pretty low numbers for employment at graduation.

OSU is significantly better in employment.

OSU is not only better in employment but almost in every way. CWRU has a bar passage in the 70's and employment 10 months out of only 66%...I was offered a full ride with fellowship and after seeing their stats decided I was better off at UC or OSU. When it comes down to employment and getting a job specialty areas mean next to nothing.

Not to mention Cleveland has ridiculous COL of 18,000 a year compared to Cincinnati, and Indiana Bloomington being 12,000 a year.

UC is a surprising school. Its prestige seems not so good as CWRU but the employment stats are much better than CWRU.

They have improved tremendously in the last couple of years. Their employment, bar passage, starting salary, and big law placement are nearly identical to OSU and IU both of which are ranked significantly higher. The main down side as you mention is their national prestige is not there, but I would argue CWRU doesn't have much of a reputation as far as law in concerned either.

What I think UC has over OSU and IU is their size being at around 300 compared to 600. This allows them to have more externships/internships than they do students (rather than each student competing for only a few opens spots in each area). They also have the Ohio Innocence Project, and very strong connections for helping students find employment where they want to work, rather than just doing something in law. They really focus on each student and make their success a priority.

Anyone have a sense of where law students tend to live?
