FSU College of Law 2019 Applicants

Post by Kat1021 » Fri Nov 20, 2015 10:58 am

Didn't see one for FSU, so I figured I would start one.

Complete 9/26. Under review as of 11/17

Applied two days ago and got an acceptance call this morning. I'm surprised at how fast they responded. Does anyone know if they send scholarship info with the acceptance letter?

My phone call said and email would be coming with info on how to apply for a scholarship.

I put in Sept 15, and I think I heard back around Oct 15 or so. They were pretty quick with the phone call and follow up email. You have to apply for scholarship separate from the admissions process (I guess to weed out folks who aren't serious?) which is an easy 10 minute form filler. I filled it out relatively quickly but have not heard back. I probably won't at this point, because I've withdrawn.

Did it take long for people's "Final Transcript Received by LSAC: No" status to be changed?
I requested everything sent from LSAC so I'm confused why it's been listed as No for two days. Also I went complete 2 days ago! At least it's listed as complete even with this transcript thing being a No. Thanks!

I believe the Final Transcript would be your transcript after graduation. So, if you have not graduate yet then that wont be checked until they received your final post grad transcripts that have all of your undergraduate grades

Just received scholarship offer today! It got caught in my spam folder, so it'd be worth checking if you're still waiting to hear back.

So you apply for scholarships after hearing back about acceptance, right? how long did it take for them to let you know about $$ after you were accepted? Thanks!

I applied in late October, accepted on November 20th, and applied for scholarships through their Google Form around November 29th and heard back Dec.15!

25% tuition for me as well! What a surprise.

I applied in September and was accepted November 20th. I applied for scholarships as soon as I got the invite. The $ committee just started meeting in "mid December".

75% tuition scholarship. Received the e-mail last week but it was sent to my junk e-mail folder for some reason.

yo! applied about a week ago. My status checker online has changed; it used to say "Application is complete, decision rendered within 3 months" and now it doesn't say anything. Thoughts?

160/3.39

EDIT: so further down on the page it says "application complete" but there is nothing in space for decision yet. The header is all that disappeared. Will report any real news

Mine used to say the same but the head disappeared.

Based on LSN, a 160 score typically receives a decision in about a week so just hold your horses
