Did any of you receive an email from alumni encouraging you to attend UC Davis in the past week? I feel bad not enrolling since it seemed like the admission office really wanted me to attend, but I received a scholarship from my top school since the first deposit. Should I be feeling like crap over this?

Withdrew my app yesterday (before last seat deposit deadline). Hopefully the money and vacancy goes to someone here on the WL. Best of luck!

Well, it appears it's too late for me to wait on UCD. I have secured an apartment in a different city and paid a second enrollment deposit elsewhere. Good luck to those still holding out!!

I had tried to negotiate my scholarship over a month ago and the financial aid gal said she couldn't as they already had a very full class.

Sorry, not to dampen spirits, but just to give you realistic expectations of the situation. Good Luck! :)

Emailed them this week and they said the second deposit deadline yielded a full class, and they were only going to pull from the waitlist as people drop out through the summer. I'm withdrawing today. Best of luck!
