Just wanted to get the ball rolling... I submitted a little while ago (application complete 10/29) but am still not under review. Anyone else have this issue?

I submitted last Monday, still awaiting review as well.

Checking in. App nearly done, plan on submitting this week.

Anyone heard anything yet?

I emailed them yesterday to confirm receipt of some additional materials I sent a while back and the response that I got was along the lines of "if you want a quicker decision, we have a non-binding early admission program you can switch to...". The deadlines for deposits and such are earlier though, so I'm not going to do it. I plan on working the WLs this spring/summer.

Has anyone been in contact with admissions? I am having a difficult time with status checker. Is everyone under review at this point? Any word on when we should hear something? Looks like in the past the initial responses have varied between mid December to mid January.

If you went RD don't expect anything until last week of December/early January - friends at my UG who applied last cycle

I applied early admission option. They guarantee before Jan 31 but that seems like a totally conservative date.

I applied with the early admission option. Same status since October (File complete, awaiting review). Has anyon'es actually changed to under review?

I'm guessing that we will start hearing back after Christmas. Their early admission deadline is 19 Dec so it seems like they wait until they have a full collection of early admission applicants to make decisions.

No, still "File Completed, Awaiting Review."

We aren't hearing anything for 2 weeks at least, maybe not till January. Large applicant pool

Is this just based on past years or from talking to admissions? OSU seems to always have big applicant pools and it seems like their past decision making times vary a lot year to year.

I checked OSU Law Twitter and they admitted students on 4 December. Must have been early decision I'm guessing.

Not certain but I'd bet they send an email first.

Actually looking at last year's thread it looks like it's definitely an email.

So the moritz website says early decision applicants will "receive notification" by December 19th? Do you guys not think that will be the final yes/no?

Also I have a 3.8 GPA but a 154 LSAT. I am honestly a really really bad test-taker but obviously a fine student. Am I being unrealistic thinking I will get into Moritz?
