I got an email this week reminding me about the deposit deadeadline, which is totally fine, but they had the audacity to say "as an Early Admission applicant, your deposit deadline is 05/20/2016..." When I was never an early admission applicant and only got my decision a couple of weeks ago. I have no problem with the deadline itself, but don't try to characterize ANYTHING about my OSU admissions process as "early". What a joke...

They said that to me too and I was far from early decision or whatever.

I got accepted on a tuesday and got scholarship info two days later

Can't remember who I spoke with but he said they were still in the process of evaluating applications due to an extremely large applicant pool.. Yada yada. Anyway, I finally heard back this morning at 8am PST.

My app has been complete since January 6th and still haven't received a decision. I'm going to deposit at Cinci this week but really would've liked to hear something from OSU by this point. :/

If you don't mind me asking what has you leaning towards OSU over UC? USNW's rankings aside? They both are very regional schools, and have similar bar passage and employment rates. I'd say if you'd rather work in Cincy go to UC, if Columbus than OSU.

I heard back from OSU about a month ago and was offered close to a full-ride, what had me ultimately deposit at UC was that I live in Cincy and would be saving 60k in living expenses. Also, I would rather work in Cincy, over Columbus.

Just my advice and opinion of course, hope you hear back soon though!

That's true, I think I'd just prefer to work in Columbus over Cincy since it's located closer to my family. I still haven't gotten the chance to visit Cincy, but I'm very familiar with Columbus and could see myself ending up there. I ended up depositing at Cincy and found out they'll give you 1/2 your deposit back if you let them know before May 15th which is nice. Thanks for your advice I might see you at Cincy this fall then!

Sounds good! I honestly was very impressed by the students at UC and the school. This is not to say I wasn't impressed by OSU though. I also am excited to work with the ohio innocence project, and love the small close knit feel of the school.

Whichever school you end up at I wish you the best of luck!

I was just accepted to UC with about a 50% ship. I am 95% set on withdrawing and waiting until next cycle to go to LS. However, can you tell me a bit about the school from your experiences? Thanks

nope, also are all the first day assignments only on the website? I only have assignments in half my classes.
